Insight Connector is customized specifically for the Courier Linux server. With the Insight Connector, Courier Linux server can be used to provide the full groupware functions of Outlook(2000-2007). It allows connection to the Courier Linux server using an IMAP connection. Once connected, users can start sharing calendars and other folders.
Many service providers and institutions who use Courier Linux can benefit by enabling sharing of calendars, tasks, and folders with any Outlook user. In addition, most of the features/functions of Outlook are supported.
For folder displaying, Courier Linux shows folders as subfolders under Outlook. It does not support using altnamespace. Below is the KDB article that describes how Courier handles private and shared folders.
