o To upgrade Insight Server from version 4.1.X - 4.2.X, please stop Insight Server first and run "# rpm -Uvh insightserver...". The upgrade process automatically performs a backup of the mail, which may take several minutes or hours to complete, depending on the size of the message store. To disable Insight Server from performing this backup automatically, please run this command before upgrading:
chmod -x /opt/insight/htdocs/is4web/cron/run-server-backup_mail.sh
After the upgrade is complete, run:
chmod +x /opt/insight/htdocs/is4web/cron/run-server-backup_mail.sh
o When importing a PST file for a user as manager/administrator, the email messages will import as unread. In order to retain the read/unread flags, please login to Insight Server as a standard user and then perform the PST import.
