o To upgrade Insight Server from version 4.1.X - 4.2.X, please stop Insight Server first and run "# rpm -Uvh insightserver...".
o Insight Server 4.2.3 now controls the licensing of Insight Connector 3.0.6+. The new licensing model allows you to select which users have access to IC3. The IC3 license is then validated against the local Insight Server via a configurable webserver port (default is port 80). This replaces the need to license Insight Connector against the Bynari licensing server over the internet.
Important Note: After the v4.2.3 upgrade is complete, if you have purchased Insight Connector 3.0, please enter the IC3 license key into Insight Server from the management interface, under "System" > "Connector Access".
o When importing a PST file for a user as manager/administrator, the email messages will import as unread. In order to retain the read/unread flags, please login to Insight Server as a standard user and then perform the PST import.
