SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

o Insight WebClient 5.0 works with Insight Server 4.3 only.

o Server 4.3 and Webclient 5.0 installs together in one package.

o If you are upgrading to Server 4.3 and have the old Webclient installed, you should first uninstall the older webclient.
Webclient. If you do not wish to upgrade to the new Webclient, please do not upgrade to 4.3. Use Server V4.2.6 instead.

o To upgrade from Server 4.2.x to 4.3, use the command: # rpm -iUvh insightserver-4.3.0glibc23.i386.rpm
Then, run the setup script: /opt/insight/etc/insightserver-setup.sh

o If you are upgrading from any version of the server less than 4.2.1, please contact the support team for assistance.

o The new documentation for the WebClient can be found: http://www.bynari.net/index.php?id=3755&subject=%2FInsight+WebClient%2F

o Logging in, for the first time, could take up to 5 minutes depending on the amount of email that
the user has. This is to populate the database of the new webclient.

o When a new user is added, the old WebClient automatically created folders (configurable) if they did not exist.
The new WebClient creates them automatically, but it creates them only as needed, instead of creating everything all at once.
For example, it creates the Sent Items folder as soon as the user sends a message.
This is to reduce some IMAP traffic especially for large installations.

o Because the new Webclient supports both iCal and tnef formats, when sending a request from the webclient to the connector,
there will be an additional attachment called, "event-invitation.ics". This is the iCal format.
If you open this attachment, it will be a duplicate of the original meeting. It will show both under the Connector.
This is working as designed. When the Connector supports iCal, this will not show as duplicates.

o The new Server includes a syncML server that is RFC compliant and supports open standards for wireless clients.

Features:
• iCal Support for calendar sharing with other email clients
• Mozilla Sunbird and Novell Evolution Calendar Sharing
• Calendaring
• Folder sharing
• Meeting scheduling
• Create events: accept/decline
• Free/busy information

Known issues:

o Outlook ical support does not work with the new Webclient. This will be working when ical for the connector is added.

o Accepting/Declining calendar events does not generate an email in Sent Items. However, the event does get sent to the
intended users.

o When the users accept an invitation, the accepted invitation does not get updated on the originator's calendar.
