o Insight WebClient 4.2.4 installs separately from Insight Server 4.2.X. If you are using Insight Server 4.1 or older, please upgrade to Insight Server 4.2.x before installing Insight WebClient 4.2.4. If you are installing for the first time, Insight WebClient 4.2.4 is executed by using "rpm -ivh". If you are upgrading to V4.2.4, please use the command, "rpm -Uvh". The installation/upgrade should take no more than a couple of minutes and can be run while Insight Server is running. After the installation is complete, please restart Insight Server.
o If you are installing WebClient V4.2.4 on an Insight Server version 4.2.0, please use the "--force" command to install Insight WebClient, ie: # rpm -Uvh --force insightwebclient-4.2.4glibc23.i386.rpm
o The distribution lists created under the webclient or the Insight Connector will be seen by the respective clients, only. The WebClient understands vcard, and Insight Connector understands Microsoft format only. The distribution lists will not be sharable until Insight Connector 3.2 is available with vcard support.
o Aspell seems to not be working on a lot of systems because of the version of "libstdc++" that comes with the distribution. We build against "libstdc++5" which comes with gcc-3-3 in Debian 3.1 (sarge). Most distros are using 3.4 and 4.x. One fix is to install an RPM providing a file named: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5
o v4.2.4 of Webclient Works with Server 4.2.4 and up.
